The ControlLogix Plant Edition Interface provides access to Allen-Bradley controllers using Ethernet/IP (CIP over Ethernet), without the requirement for RSLinx. The server is installed on a Windows PC and uses the 1756 ENET/ENBT Module Gateway or 1761 NET-ENI to connect to the controller.

The Allen-Bradley ControlLogix controller supports intensive process applications and provides fast processing of motion applications.
