The MatrikonOPC Server for Siemens S5 PLC's provides connectivity to Siemens SIMATIC S5 Logic Controllers via Ethernet. The OPC Server enables communication with all S5 family PLCs by handling S5 application protocols over TCP/IP and H1 transfer protocols.
For Siemens S7 PLC's use the MatrikonOPC Server for Siemens S7 PLCs.
The MatrikonOPC Server for Siemens S5 enables real-time, high speed data transfer simultaneously to the many PLCs of the SIMATIC S5 family allowing OPC Clients to monitor, control, coordinate, archive and trend all available point types.
