Server for OPC turns any process historian into an ODBC compliant database with

The MatrikonOPC ODBC Server for OPC enables ODBC access to any OPC HDA
(Historical Data Access) Server and is fully compliant to Microsoft’s ODBC 3.5
specification. Each Server is configured to act as a database in the Matrikon
ODBC Server for OPC, with a unique database name. This unique database name is
used in "ODBC Data Source Administrator" to specify the desired data source for
the configured DSN.
Users can gain instant access to their IP21, Pi, PHD, or other OPC process
historian using their OPC Server and the Matrikon ODBC Server for OPC.
