The solution provides a connectivity of Oracle Manufacturing Operations Center with
shopfloor devices such as PLC, DCS, and Historians etc. The solution keeps scanning the
shopfloor devices based on a pooling frequency or an event trigger, reads the device data
and updates the same in Oracle Manufacturing Operations Center as a transaction. This
data comprises of production output, quality or equipment availability etc.
The data from the devices is read and exposed in the form of OPC tags. These tags are
configured in Oracle Manufacturing Operations Center according to its entity type &
mapped to the respective equipment.
Matrikon Technologies provides MatrikonOPC Server solution with support for Oracle
Manufacturing Operations Center. The solution enables Transactions of data, defined by a
Complex OPC Tags, to be written to the Oracle Manufacturing Operations Center Interface
table on a time or event basis.
