The LUKOIL-Permnefteorgsintez refinery in Perm, Russia houses 36 process units. Four units are controlled by RS3 systems.
LUKOIL purchased one Matrikon OPC RS3 RNI server and successfully installed and launched the system. It connects to three RS3 RNIs simultaneously – the Delayed Coker and the AT-5 atmospheric distillation unit – retrieving approximately 340 values in total. The values are raw materials and final product flows, and some process control parameters. Data is also collected from the Sulfuric Acid treatment unit.
Measured values are published as part of a metrological test report.
