Technical Details
The PROMORE FibreNet Distributed Temperature System (DTS) is a fibre optic data acquisition system. This system retrieves temperature readings, in 0.5 meter intervals, along a fibre optic cable. The OPC Server for FibreNet DTS enables any OPC compliant application to retrieve data from this data acquisition system.
Flexible ItemID format (single point, range, and range with interval)
Parsing of trace files as soon as they become available
Allow reading of at least 100 fibres
Fibre information (i.e. survey type, x units, y units, etc.) is exposed via OPC items
OTDR files can be used to determine OPC item qualities
